Just made a reservation at a resort for my wife and I to celebrate our 25 year wedding anniversary (applause? Why, thank you!) A few minutes after completing my reservation, I received an email confirmation that was noticeably different from the ones I typically receive: it was from a real person at the resort, with a real name – not from a “email@example.com” or “firstname.lastname@example.org.” Nice touch, assuming there really IS a REAL person by this name at the resort. If this is how they respond to emails, I can’t wait to experience their in-person service.
Stay tuned until August 9th to see if they meet expectations… (Yes, I’ll let you know the name of the resort – but only after the trip. I want my wife to be surprised…)
